ECU Racing was founded as a unique education and training program for the designers and engineers of the future. The ECU Racing team is comprised of exemplary Edith Cowan University students, with the majority studying motorsport-related fields and mechanical engineering.
As the brightest young minds compete annually around the globe, the boundaries of innovation, technology, and engineering are constantly redefined, with the ECU Racing team in 2022 designing one of the lightest cars in Australian competition’s history (155kg).
In 2023 they are looking to repeat their successes with their internal combustion competitor with the help of RS Group, while continuing development on their first generation EV prototype.
